I really hope they open a new location soon. Best coffee in the area. Saw the sign that said they might be looking for a new location. I'll go anywhere in the South Bay for it, regularly. Id be down to invest and use my all electric truck to make a mobile service. Would feed my addiction very nicely :)

Was searching for a cozy coffee shop I hadn't been to before and am so happy I found Berraco Specialty Colombian Coffee. Nice, chill Latin vibe with comfy seating. I like that there is reggaeton music playing and they offer Columbian pastries, bread, and empanadas. 4 stars because it's a bit pricey compared to other coffee shops.

New coffee spot!! While I don't have pictures from my second visit, I have been here twice so far and I'd say I'm pleased. The coffee: I love a good vanilla latte and I can say that not only was it good, it was consistent. Both times I went the vanilla flavor wasn't overpowering, it wasn't too sweet, and the coffee flavor was still able to shine through. They also have the "Berraco experience" where you can ask for your coffee to be prepared a certain way. While I think it would be overkill if you're in a rush to get to work, for those who have the time it's an incredibly fun process! You get an explanation of the process and the beans and the ratios for making coffee! Refresher: The refresher was pretty good flavor wise, but a little too sweet. Definitely a nice drink for the summer! The atmosphere of the coffee place is lively and feels almost like a bar. The seating is all around the edges of the room and the baristas are right in the center. There's music playing and while I have only been twice, it does seem a little loud for a studying environment. Will definitely be coming back for my daily silly little drink!

We had been eagerly awaiting for this coffee spot to open. Lately one of my biggest spending vices is a daily cappuccino... so I coffee shop hop on the daily. My favorite espresso drinks are from Voyager and Blue Bottle which I think are just most consistent. I've tried the flat white, cappuccino berraco, and latte here so far. The espresso drinks have all been pretty good- not too bitter, and not too heavy on the milk either. It just hasn't been very consistent. The flat white served for here, was room temperature. The to-go drinks I've had have been piping hot. I didn't like that the cappuccino was flavored with caramel syrup which is not clear based on it's name. One latte was pretty good, and the other was too milky. It's certainly a nice place to add into my mix, particularly if I'm not in the mood for the long Voyager lines. But wait can still be long despite no lines since they don't seem to have a good system (seems they forgot my drinks the last visit...) I'd be back for the Empanadas alone. They serve both Colombian and Argentinian empanadas, made in house. Various flavors including chicken, beef, spinach. The chicken Argentinian empanada is SPOT ON. Perfectly thin but pastry flaky crust, chicken filling is ample, with good flavoring. They also have cheesy/cassava bread balls, I thought the Almojabana was a bit too densely cassavay compared to the ones my father in law used to bring back to us from Colombia. I like the space- Cool vibe, nice photo op wall decor. Not many tables that are good for working at. Music situation is odd and inconsistent as well-- sometimes it's blaring and feels like they're going for a club vibe. My husband who is actually Colombian, felt the barista was more interested in adjusting the sound board than making the coffee which I did notice during one of my visits as well.

I came by early on a weekday to check out this new coffee shop. I walked in from the back entrance and before going up to order I checked out the space. It's a large spacious with seating all over the space. There is a lot of artificial plants all over the place including a flower arch and light up sign. When I got to the register to order I was greeted warmly and tried to browse the menu as quickly as I could to make a choice. There are several menus so my eyes were wandering between all of them to make a quick choice. Since there were so many options I went for the latte. I love signature drinks but often will order a latte to know what their cup of coffee taste like. The lady behind the register offered some Colombian pastries and I opted for a beef empanada. I paid and went to browse more of the space with my kiddo. As we were wondering a staff walked by and turned back around to welcome us. After several minutes my order was completed and of course I had to take a sip of my coffee right away. It was extra hot so make sure you check that before you take a sip. The flavor was pretty good after it was drinkable. I enjoyed it. Not sure if I got a beef empanada because it taste more like chicken and it had potato in it. Interesting flavor. The service is good. The lady behind the register was happy to help. The menu is very large and was very overwhelming. I would of like the cashier to offer recommendations and more information on the drinks and how much syrup is in flavored drinks. Spacious area for groups. This place offers a variety of Colombian coffee and pastry options. Something for everyone. Parking is shared and limited to what is in the lot behind the business. This shop is in a high traffic area so plan accordingly. I will need to take a photo of the menu to make my choice before getting to the register next time.
